- A Maha Nikaya temple. The temple registry gives 1915 as the founding year and 1932 for the royal boundary grant (wisungkhamasima). In 2025 Surat Thani City Municipality named it as one of five temples in the municipal area sending a boat to the Chak Phra procession.
