- Background
- Once an abandoned temple that villagers called Wat Khi Raet. The Tha Chang district monastic head sent Phra Chum Piyanantho, later titled Phra Khru Santi Thammaphithak, to restore it. The provincial monastic head renamed it Samnak Song Santi Thammaram, and it later became Wat Santi Thammaram. Its consecrated boundary was granted on 29 September 1998.
