- Background
- Known for short as Wat Khao Tham, a Maha Nikaya temple on a small hill with a cave. The temple registry gives 1833 as the founding year; its consecrated boundary was granted on 11 February 2009. The cave holds a large red sandstone Buddha image, and the Fine Arts Department registered the site as an ancient monument on 3 January 1937.
