- Background
- A Maha Nikaya temple on the Phunphin River, built by monks and villagers under its first abbot, Phra Khru Chalathon Thamrong (Kluean Inthamuni); its consecrated boundary was granted in 1914. The first ubosot was built of timber floated from Bo Krang Subdistrict; around 1967–1972 a masonry ubosot was built over it. Villagers took refuge here during World War II.
