- Background
- A Maha Nikaya temple whose founder and founding date are not known for certain. The temple registry gives 1389 as the founding year; its consecrated boundary was granted on 3 July 1980. According to elders' accounts recorded by the Tha Chang Subdistrict Cultural Council, it was built at the same time as Wat Klang Wanaram by a man named Pring, one of four siblings in local legend.
