Background

A Maha Nikaya temple on the Phunphin–Surat Thani road. The temple registry gives 1691 as the founding year; its consecrated boundary was granted on 12 February 2002. It developed most under abbot Luang Pho Han Paphakaro (Phra Khru Ratsadaram Khanit), who built a new ubosot to replace one destroyed by a storm, begun in 1959 and finished in 2000.
